PrairieWise Herbal School is dedicated to providing a comprehensive herbal education that focuses on people and their relationship with plants. We further recognize a variety of herbal modalities and healing energetics while seeking to expand our knowledge of these practices. It is our mission to first and foremost help people by utilizing the holographic nature of plants and build in people a firm foundation of herbal medicine.
We accomplish our goals by:

BH begins with learning the art of making a variety of preparations, we start your foundation by focusing on safety and therapeutic terminology. We assist you in creating your personal materia medica, and provide support for your plant world experience. This is a year-long plant experience.

Wellness Immersion, Year 2
WI continues the wellness journey with anatomy & physiology for the herbalist, deepening of body issues and plant allies, and formulation of herbal remedies using herbal blends for specific issues. You will learn the basics of clinical practice and add to your materia medica. This is a continuation of the first year and builds upon your skills and knowledge.

Throughout the year, we will be offering different workshops on health, healing, herbs, energetics, potion making, and more.
Many of the Basic Herbalism classes can be taken as a workshop giving you an opportunity to interact with the school and our instructors.

Women of the Mesa
Women of the Mesa is an opportunity to decompress from our day-to-day life and reconnect with our wild selves. We camp on a northern New Mexico mesa, learn about some of the plants there, explore ourselves through art, self expression and the thrill of meeting challenges. $200, plus food contribution. For women only.
